Photo & Video" contest.
Hi everyone, this is where the fun begins, where the rubber hits the road if you
will. We are about to turn up the volume on the term “interactive”.
Welcome to Simply Fishing Magazine’s Photo and Video contest. It’s simple and
exciting for everyone. The first thing to know is, there is no purchase
necessary to enter.
Submit your entries, as many as you wish, to:
editor@Simplyfishingmagazine.com . Upon receipt of your entry, a panel of
judges will decide which entries will be published. It is our intention to
publish all, however, be aware there is limited space available. So, make them
pretty and submit them as soon as possible for your best chance.
Once we have accepted your submission it will be given a
number. The assigned number will be entered into the subject line of your
responding email vote. Simple enough? Your submission must be accompanied by
your full contact information:
Name
Address
City
State and zip code
Phone number
Email address
Failure to follow this one simple rule will disqualify
unless resubmitted following this rule.
Photos should be as hi-res as possible to insure a quality displaying of your
submission. The judging is done by you the public, so, if the picture quality is
lacking so will be the votes.
Video clips may be sent as links, native video (mailed to Digital Integration
Group Services, 7055 21st Ave., Centerville MN 55038, note: a postage and
handling charge will be assed at $5.00 p/h to return videos, if requested) or
compressed video files to:
editor@Simplyfishingmagazine.com. For those sending video files uncompressed
call 651-429-3351 for instructions.
To enter a video or photo you have uploaded to Trophy Clips
send the Video URL or Picture URL (link) displayed below your video or photo
when it is being watched to:
editor@Simplyfishingmagazine.com and be sure to include your contact
information in the email.
Each issue will have select photos and videos for purpose of voting and will
stay ACTIVE for the entire contest period. Note; you must vote from within the
issue that contains the original entry for the vote to continue to count. Simply
return to the previous issue where the clip or photo resides and continue the
voting process for as long as contest provides.
From each issue five photos and five video clips will be chosen. As the contest
continues and the tallies continue to grow, five additional finalists will arise
based on a total number of votes for the contest period. In our December issue,
all of the finalist will be displayed and the voting will start from ground
zero. You will have 31 days to get as many votes as possible to win one of two
trips with the Simply Fishing crew to shoot a special episode of “Simply Fishing
Television (date & location to be announced). Now that’s simple and interactive.
