Trophy Clips is pleased to offer three opportunities for members to win for their content and activity level - Video Contest, Photo Contest and Active Member Contest. Each contest is open to members only and members become eligible simply by uploading videos, pictures or both. The more a member uploads the more points they receive for being active. Trophy Clips will award the two most active members twice during 2008, so sign up and upload your videos and pictures for a chance to win. Acceptable Video Clips
The Video contest is for those of us amateurs who fish and hunt with camcorder in hand. Prizes will only be awarded to submissions that contain hunting or fishing content (wildlife in action is good too). Videos with any advertising content will not be eligible to win the Best Clips contest. This means that any video with verbal, written, graphically depicted or other means of communicating a company, product, service or other website will not be eligible to win prizes. Trophy Clips reserves the right to not include any videos based on our determination of advertising content or content that does not relate to fishing or hunting. Remember to keep videos clean for our user community.

How Videos Are Judged
Videos are assigned a ranking value based on several factors, but the most important factor is the views per day. Using views per day eliminates a ranking based on the total number of views. This means a video that has been active for 40 days has equal chance of winning as one that has been active for 90 days.

Hints: Make your video title and description eye catching and to the point. Keep your videos between one and five minutes if possible and try to keep the content relevant to keep the viewer engaged. Be sure to tell your friends and family to watch your video and spread the word! Post links to your video on forums to really boost the views per day. Keep in mind that if you don't win your video will continue to be eligible for all 2008 video contest awards. 

Award Schedule
Best Clips will be determined on the following dates with prizes awarded shortly after these dates: 

Spring Award: April 1st, 2008: View the contest winner in the Trophy Library >
Summer Award: July 1st, 2008 View the contest winner in the Trophy Library >

Autumn Award: October 1st, 2008 videos uploaded by September 2nd, 2008 are eligible for the Autumn Award. If your video did not win the Summer Award it will continue to be eligible for the Autumn Award.

Winter Award: January 1st, 2009

Awards will have a cash value of $300.  Type of awards are yet to be determined (sponsor's gift certificate, cash, etc...).

Trophy Clips actively awards members for simply uploading content (videos and pictures) and by referring new members to Trophy Clips. Members will receive one (1) point for referring a new member, one (1) point for uploading a picture and four (4) points for uploading a video. At the end of the contest period the members with the two highest point totals will be awarded a prize. Once an Active Member award has been made all points will be reset to zero for the next contest period. Members that win the Active Member contest are eligible to win again. To view your Active Member points login to your Trophy Clips account and view your homepage stats in the upper left corner of the page.

Award Schedule
There will be two award dates for the most Active Member during 2008.

Summer Award: July 1st, 2008 eligible uploads must occur before July 1st 2008
Winter Award: January 1st, 2009 eligible uploads must occur before January 1st, 2009

The member with the most points will receive an award with a cash value of $250 (sponsor's gift certificate, cash, etc...).
The member with the second most points will receive an award with a cash value of $100 (sponsor's gift certificate, cash, etc...).
