The Story

I was on my way to meet a guy I met on flyfishbc, It was my first trip to Powell River. He took me to a slough were there was 10 large Cutthroat lying in 3 feet of crystal clear water. Hooked 2 fish and lost them both to sticks on the bottom. We were on our way back up stream when I saw them lying to my right. I put on a white zonker and laid it out, three strips of the fly and she smashed it. It was one of the most exciting fights of my life. All thanks to my new friend Patchs.
