The Story
This picture was taken on the anchor river in
Oct. while fishing for steelhead with my buddy Shawn who had never
gone before. We took at least a dozen pictures of this guy, and he
never once looked intimidated. Shortly after we finished taking
pictures he flew up into a near by tree. A few minutes later Shawn
hooks a nice dolly, by far his biggest fish of the trip for him. as
I set my rod down, I see the eagle swoop in and grab the fish no
more than three feet from Shawn. After a quick, but lengthy run, the
line broke and he sat above us eating my buddies trophy.
