The
Story
This was my first deer ever with a bow and my
biggest buck so far. This deer came in at 7:30 in the morning, I
was sitting on a small ditch and he was walking down it checking
trails. About 25 yards from me he crossed the ditch. I
whistled for him to stop and he gave me a good broad side shot.
I watched him run off about 40 yards and stop. Then he started
running hard and crashing into brush. He went about 40 more
yards and I watched him go down. He is an 8 point with a 16 inch
inside spread.
