Spring time in Alaska on the ice brings about an addiction called Lake Troutitis. There is no cure once you have hooked into a beast from the deep. You will spend countless hours in pursuit of the elusive Lake Trout in Harding Lake.

A few friends and myself went to the Klutina River for some Sockeye Salmon fishing this past summer. We timed it just right as the fish were running thick and heavy at times. We limited out each day. This is the same trip the famous Stick-N-String video was produced on by JediMasterSalmonSlayer. We all had a blast on this trip and hope to do it again in the summer of 2012.

A couple of fishing buddies and myself decided to go ice fishing today despite the fact the outside temperature was -34. We had the proper gear so we were nice and toasty inside our portable ice hut. Caught a total of 8 fish with the biggest a 21 inch rainbow.
