Trip Logs

Trophy-Clips.com now offers a journal style Trip Log page to organize your content - videos, pictures and text entries. Use the Trip Log as a multimedia journal to document a single trip, a season or simply to organize your content into related themes.

Why a Trip Log

For many of us our trips into the woods and onto the water result in videos and pictures that we would like to display together. Some type of text entry is often helpful to better describe our trip, weather it is for the day or for many trips over a season.

Trip Logs let you organize your content on a single webpage, so your viewers can clearly see all of your related content and read about your outdoors pursuits on one page. The whole story can unfold together now for your viewers to enjoy. Read more below and get your Trip Log started today.

Start a Trip Log

To start a Trip Log you must have an active Trophy Clips account and have uploaded at least one picture or video. Trip Logs are created by clicking the Upload button from the main menu. On the Upload page click the Log button to get started, or click here

Trip Logs can contain any pictures or videos that you have uploaded to Trophy Clips. If you forget a picture or video, or want to add one after you have created your Trip Log you can edit any Log Entry and add new media at any time or add a new Log Entry to an existing Trip Log.

Click on the Trip Logs below to view three example Trip Logs:

Example Trip Log 1: A simple album Trip Log to organize pictures into two Log Entries with multiple pictures.
Example Trip Log 2: Trip Log for a week long annual fishing trip with multiple entries, videos and pictures.
Example Trip Log 3: A season long hunting Trip Log with multiple entries, videos and pictures.

Step 1: Enter Trip Log Details

Enter a Title, Description and Tags for your new Trip Log. This will be the Title, Description and Tags for the Trip Log.

You will create Log Entry Titles and Log Entry Descriptions later.

Step 2: Select a Cover Photo

Select a cover Photo for your Trip Log. The Photo will be placed in the Title area of your Trip Log. Your Cover Photo can be selected from the list of your uploaded pictures and video thumbs.

The Cover Photo can also be uploaded from your computer. The uploaded photograph will not appear in the standard Trophy Clips Picture gallery, but will be visible on your Trip Log cover.

Once you have selected a Cover Photo click Upload Log.

Step 3: Create a Log Entry

Once your Trip Log has been uploaded you are ready to create a Log Entry. Log Entries need to have at least one video or picture, a title and a description.

Once you have entered a Title and Description for your Log Entry select some pictures and videos from the list of your uploaded content. When you are finished selecting pictures and videos click Create Log Entry to finish.

Add more Log Entries

Add new Log Entries to a Trip Log in the "My Logs" page. Select the New Log Entry button to create new entries in any Trip Log.

Edit Trip Log and Log Entries

At any time you can edit your Trip Log and any Log Entries. To edit a Trip Log and Log Entries visit the "My Logs" page, which lists all of your existing Trip Logs. Use the Edit options to make changes to either your Trip Log or a Log Entry.

Editing the Log Entry allows for adding or removing pictures or videos and modifying Log Entry text and titles.

The Trip Log can be modified to show a new Cover Photo or to change a Title, Description or Tags.
